i heart dslr.

as above...
i want need a dslr.
i know i talk about him (ryu: the-soon-to-be-mine d90) everyday..
people around me probably have gotten really sick/phobic about it >.<
but how can i stop talking/thinking about him?
IMPOSSIBLE.

and.. sadly to say, i'm only gonna bring my baby back after my exam.
why? because i know far too well how self disciplined i am!
so.. everyone's gonna have to put up with me and my never-fail-daily i-want-my-dslr talk until then =)

PS: thanks a lot to yumi for lending me her d5000 =D

i finally got my Sb planner =D
and i'm very proud to say that this time, i earnt it fairly =)
only 2 of the stamps are given free by the barista ^^
(i shall continue on my talk on "men are much nicer people than women in some way" later)

nice huh? =)

but for some reason, i kinda liked the 2009's one better...

but this year's is nice too =)
and did you realised, its gonna be 2010 in 3 more days!
time is really flying! (or is it just me?)
which means that exams are coming very soon T.T
everyone is asking me to study! and to stop playing! (but playing is part of being me.. =.=)
stress!!! >.<

yesterday was ing and caleb's first day of work.
they even opened their new epf account! no longer 'leng mui leng chais' anymore (getting old la.. ahem)
anyway.. we met up for lunch before their work at Mian Dui Mian @ DU aka Face to Face? (direct translation)
the shop's specialty: pan mee of all sorts.
we ordered:

Dry Spicy Pan Mee
very nice!
much much much better than the overrated famous chilly pan mee.
trust me =)

Stewed Pork Pan Mee Soup
not bad too!
the sauce tastes a bit like bak kut teh (herbal taste)

Dry Chicken Curry Pan Mee
whatever you do...
please DON'T order this. (unless you're out of your mind)
i'm not sure if it's the chef problem yesterday or whatsoever (give it some benefit of doubt lah),
but it tastes really really bad, no kidding (all of us agree)
its really spicy, but tasteless at the same time (especially the taufu pok, totally tasteless)
halfway through, we decided to stop eating/torturing ourselves.
(especially mr caleb.. he had this 'very tortured face' while eating)

later at night, we went for dai lou's farewell party at De Pastry Chef @ Kepong.
we had pastry buffet (focus is on the pastry/desserts)

it was on promotion, rm 13/person (do correct me if i'm wrong)

the pretty tarts.

strawberry log cake
(or is it swiss roll? i dunno)

the tarts are nice.
(i memang love tarts)

honestly, i didn't eat much (quite waste money)
all i recall eating was: some food (noodles stuff) and few tarts (fruit, chocolate etc)
probably was busy talking and taking pictures? LOL

PS: the pictures above are un-edited.
don't have to spend waste time editing pictures (told ya, i dslr ^^)
but still, a good close-up lens is important (especially for people like michi and me)
if not, its really kinda difficult to focus and not much bokeh effect lah.. >.<

PS: check out the picture at the bottom of the page too =)

to be continued...
gtg now, my poor friend is waiting for me while i'm here blogging! XD
and its my first time blogging daytime. couldn't wait to blog =.= (too tired last night)

Monday, December 28, 2009

christmas: joy.

in pic: handmade cookies from michi =)

in case you didn't know, christmas is my fav celebration of all time.
well i don't celebrate it in a religious way, but this day is important to me (have yet to know why exactly) and really makes me happy too.
the only part i find kinda frustrating about xmas (other than it's only once a year =.=):
shopping for presents.
maybe its me, but i find it really really difficult and tiring to shop for presents!
really takes a lot of effort + time.
(especially for guys! who said that girls are difficult? okay maybe in some ways la.. but seriously, presents wise, girl's are much much easier to buy okay.)
and i burnt a really BIG hole in my pocket for xmas. totally overspent and overbudget. LOL

PS: my new sf, icydk = in case you didn't know

starting with xmas eve...

we spent most of the day rushing around, just like amazing race.
but judging by our "performance" that day, sure get eliminated by 1st round =.=

anyway, starting from the morning. woke up freaking early, at 6.30am! had less than 4 hours of sleep.
had to send my car to the service center on xmas eve. what a big joke.
due to some reason, the appointment was fixed on that day, couldn't change/postpone.
well.. the prob of my car: weird+scary sounds when turning the steering wheel.
and it all started after i did something really stupid the other day..
we were talking (hence, not concentrating) and then i drove up a divider =.=
very smart eh? >.<

(the car issue was one of the main factor of our rushing.
the other was: our supposingly very smart move of buying movie tickets in advance.)

after that we had famous pan mee @ paramount for xmas-eve brekkie.
(no picture, forgot to take =.=)
the specialty at that shop: Loh Pan Mee with 3colors noodles.
made from spinach, carrot and something else which i forgot (why am i even surprised..)
maybe its me, but i think its a bit overrated (just like the chilly pan mee)
its nice. but not fantastic-wow. well you get what i mean..

due to miscommunication (happens quite often lately), yumi and i ended up at DU around 1 something for her haircut,
which was very late.. totally behind schedule.
you know why? we already bought tickets for Sherlock Holmes at 2.
to make things worse, the car had an empty tank! which means we had to waste time for petrol.
there was absolutely no way we can make it on time =.=

the only thing we did as according to our plan:
parking at BU housing area and walking to 1u.
to save time, which was quite smart =)
(parking is always crazily full on holidays)

and we managed to watch half of the show. LOL
took me some time to adjust/understand what was going on in the show..
but the movie is GOOD
=)

Rate: 7.5/10
missed the front half, so probably gonna watch it again (if have the time+money)

after the movie, we rushed to collect my car at the service center.
had mcd drive thru fries as late lunch in the car (save time)
and the guy at mcd's probably was too excited about xmas eve or something,
cuz he really really put TOO MUCH salt in the fries!
damn salty lor, we practically had to drown the fries in ketchup to make it less salty =.=
and the saddest part? out of the 6 packets, only TWO were ketchup!
so, we had to take more than half of the super-salty fries without any sauce (we don't take chili sauce)
and before that, we even told the guy to give us all ketchup.
i really wonder why do they even bother to ask what sauce you want, when they don't even (never) listen.
.

a bit lazy lah, gonna skip some stuff and summarize..
anyway, i drove my car back from the center. so we left to go back home in separate cars..
and we both got stuck in a HORRIBLE jam! (due to my lan lek-ness, mine was worse =.=)
by the time we both got home, it was already 6pm.
and guess what? we already bought tickets for avatar @ 6.30! in Pavillion!! LOL
with the massive jam, how were we even supposed to reach there in time?
IMPOSSIBLE.
to make it worse, we were supposed to fetch clinton before going there.
IMPOSSIBLE X2.

crawling in the jam, we reached his place at 6.30 (timing for our movie =.=)
since there's no point rushing to Pavillion, we decided to cut loss instead = give up our expensive Avatar tickets
well at least.. this way we'll have a decent xmas dinner together..
rather than rushing there for less than half of Avatar and no xmas dinner.

and as usual.. he said: wait for you until 'fan gao'. =.=
poor guy.. haha

part of our conversation:

Y: where should we go for dinner?
C: up to you all (so typical him lor..)
M: your area you decide la >.<
okay.. what you feel like doing?
C: i know! let's go get stuck in traffic jam!!!
Y&M: =.=

(Y: Yumi, M: Miko, C: Clint)
after typing, i just realised that the sf of our names is YMC!
should look for a guy with name starting with "A"!!
then we can become YMCA! LOL
*kena piak by someone*
sorry sorry... i know not funny =.=

i quoted the above not because its lame (most of our conversation memang lame punye)
there's a reason la... read on..

after much torture and hesistation, we decided on BSC
(why do people always take so long to decide where to go yea??)
we wanted to go to WIP which stands for: Whipped Into Place.
it was featured in some mag and it looks really nice. very got feel.
but they were having exclusive xmas eve party that day,
rm150 per person. sorry, totally over our budget..

anyway, we ended up at Alexis.
at first, i was abit reluctant to go there..
cuz of my previous VERY PLEASANT experience @ Alexis Bangsar, a different branch.
(icydk, i was trying to be sarcastic)
there were no more tables.. and the Q was long..
after waiting for some time, the guy came over and said:
"sorry we're fully booked for tonight.
if you want, there's one table, but you'll have to leave at 8.30."
we were like dot dot dot lor (it was already 7.30 then, fast food meh), terus said no thanks.
when we're about to leave, he called us and said that "suddenly" got a free table for us..
(so typical)

among the food we ordered:
Pollo Pizza
not bad.. nice =)

Angel Hair with Sri Lanka Crab
quite nice too..
i didn't tell clinton (another seafood lover, like me ^^) about the 'Sri Lanka crab' story..
(ask me if you want to know)
well lucky i didn't... 90% sure lose appetite =.=

we ordered another pasta.. but i totally forgotten the name, too sophisticated.. (most of the names here are so)

roasted turkey with duck confit.
(with something else as well.. another sophisticated long name which i forgot)
my dear friend somemore thought that they were going to give us half turkey or something..
really rugi/close down if they do that at that price >.<
(even cold storage is selling whole bird at rm250 =.=)

guess what time our food arrived?
8.30
LOL. and.. at first, that guy somemore expected us to leave before 8.30.
takkan he expect us to mai dan and leave once the food arrives? =.=

so..
its quite obvious that we splurged on xmas eve dinner lah.. (won't say the exact amount, but our bill > 200)
we even had expensive mineral water (seriously) that costs rm20/bottle >.<
and when we left... we realised that we're the youngest people there!
people must be thinking we're some stupid spoilt rich trust-fund brats, somemore 3person order 4dishes =.=
but don't care la, its XMAS EVE, once a year! =D
(but damn broke now okay)

both food and service are much much better than the other horrible branch at Bangsar.
Rate: 6/10
PS: the side tables with city view, really good for romantic dinners =)
(and please do make reservation first on special days)

we went to many places after that..
(most of the time spent screaming and karaoke-ing in the car =.=)
1st: gardens/mid valley
surprisingly, the parking was really empty and there was no traffic jam at all!
2nd: bangsar street
we finally got our wish, that is:
to be stuck in jam! LOL (as in conversation above)
really weird cuz there's no jam at everywhere else!

after all of that, we decided to park at bangsar station and take a ride on the LRT, just for fun. really random.. =.=
and because we have never tried riding until the very last station,
we decided to...
ride all the way to gombak, and ride back again (sambil enjoying the night view) >.<
a bit mou liu lah actually...
i can't believe clinton actually was the one who came up with this idea!
well.. normally, he is very much against embarrassing/crazy/childish/38 behavior (such as this)
his fav quote "ngo mm sek lei" =.=
(read in canton = i don't know you)

kl view from the station...

and we dashed into the lrt..

embarrassing to say so..
but halfway through our journey to the last station... we gave up =.=
 because it was really torturing!
1st: the lrt was like a sardine tin. really unpleasant to see people squeezing in front of us.
2nd: there was NO night view at all.
3rd: the lrt was damn slow.
4th: we were already dozing off...
5th: seriously, do i even have to go on?

took the train back to KLCC.

night view was nice. =)
and we had some window shopping (practically) in KLCC, with all the stores already closed =.=

after that, we catched the last train at 11.30 pm, back to bangsar.
rushed back (failed) to clinton's place to see the supposingly-xmas-eve fireworks from there.
(amazing kl view from his place)
and.. guess what? there was none this year.
on the way back, we became mat-rempits of the night.
with full speed, windows down and music full blast. LOL
and... we had our xmas countdown in the car, THREE times! SS
first, with the car clock
2nd, with yumi's phone
3rd, with clinton's phone
(should have made it 4 times, with my phone =.=)
back to the screaming part...
and we screamed "MERRY XMAS!!!!!!" (really really loud) to the cars with windows down.
our screaming scared one particular proton car (the guy drove damn slow behind us after that =.=)
totally lost our voices after that. crazy but SO much fun! LOL

i think.. this is probably one of the most detailed post i've ever written. its so wordy! >.<

and my lappy's touchpad is driving me crazy!

to be continued..
christmas day =)

Thursday, December 24, 2009

merry xmas to you too.

Merry Xmas everyone!!~
its christmas eve! =D
just found my long-abandoned santa hat, and it looks really really horrible...
must have really overused it last time. LOL
perhaps i should get a new one later XD
don't care, broke then broke lah..
its xmas, its my fav long-awaited celebration of the year and i shall do anything/whatever i want
(including excessive spending, which i would/already did/planned to)
..and its not some lame excuse for me to splurge okay =.=

for some reason, i'm having some kinda weird pre-xmas depression.
perhaps no one else would understand this feeling (except michi)
its like looking forward to something for SO long and suddenly, its just going to be over.
XMAS is going to be OVER in TWO days

(is it just me or is time really flying?)

anyway, enough with the mood-spoiling talk.
throwing away all the stress for the moment,
i'm absolutely hyped and looking forward to
our xmas eve plans later! yay~
=)

this Russell Peters guy is totally cracking me up!

he's really funny lor, seriously!

please do refrain yourself from wanting to pinch him in the face,
cuz this boy is SOOOOOOOO cuttttteeeeeee!! OMG

presenting you..
the Ukulele Boy
(FYI ukulele is the name of that 'small guitar', not his name =.=)

awww... so damn cute.... beh tahan

one more vid of the cutie:
(even cuter!)

cute until you dunno what else to say right??????
(got potential to be the tyson type XD)

Wednesday, December 23, 2009

you're the sugar in my heart.

gonna blog about this before i forget.. believe me i will,
cuz i'm already having difficulty remembering what i did and where i went last week!
feel like those old people who don't remember what they did/said and where they stay! lol
i know that my memory is really bad and i totally got the days/people mixed up.
kena marah somemore.. =.=

GDO aka girls day out with my girls =)
we all decided to wear dresses and heels.

after being stuck in a horrible jam in ikea (heavy rain somemore) for about 45 minutes, and for nothing..
we ended up at Kitchen Creatures @ Centrepoint.
which was my first time makan-ing at Centrepoint since i dunno when..
(living nearby doesn't mean that i have to go there right =.=)

READ please...

for those too lazy to read in the picture:
(i just quote those i wanna talk about)

1.
"for any reason that you are not satisfied with the meal, please inform the manager.
alternatively, you can hit the chef."

LOL. those having bad mood can go there. mm song can let out on the chef =.=
(poor chef. kesian..)

2.
"failed at school exams? show us your results, and after a good laugh, we'll treat you with something."

our first reaction: sure or not???
haha.. if its true i should bring my results there next time!
not proud to say, but i'm more than eligible for it...
enough for us to go there few times =.=

mushrooms stuffed with cheese, crabstick and something else which i forgot..
nice ^^
the pasta there looks really nice too.
wanna try next time (soon)
=)

lights there.  looks like the ones in my room.
overall deco not bad ^^

after that we headed over to janz's place to fetch her and xing yi.
our destination: SOULed Out @ Mont Kiara.

and... we met with "it" again.
we had this same horrible encounter with this weird dome-shaped pizza at uno's before!
its really messy (with all the gravy flowing out) and difficult to eat =.=
the worst thing to happen:
to order this dish on your first date! imagine that..

lesson learnt:
please just order something that has a picture in the menu.

chicken chop.
much much better than the pizza, still not nice enough for its price/standard though.

other than the food, design/concept here: also disappointing.
from far, this place looked really nice and got feel.
sad to say but the actual thing is far below our expectation..

and for some reason which i don't understand,
they used the same type of tables and chairs you would see in the swimming pool.
its really really uncomfortable and doesn't even look nice.
well.. the lightings and deco really helped a lot.
another plus mark: good service.
other than that.. i would say that this place is quite a disappointment.

due to our kinda saddening financial situation, instead of our usual place at The Curve,
we decided to share cheap indian rice at Ikano's...
(cheapest place around there, other than having bread =.=)

actually it wasn't too bad la.. quite nice.
at least we didn't have to be eating bread. that would be really sad case (or tragic, i say)

while we were eating, some guy working for the charity came over..
and what would soft hearted people do?
they would donate... (even if they're as broke as us that day)

..and we got this (apparently its designed by some kid in the foundation)
half for each of us =.=

we wanted to watch this show together..
cuz it looks really stupid, with a pretty girl (our type somemore)
and we expected it to be another typical lame movie...

but surprisingly...
its good! really funny and entertaining =D
(i'll say its better than movies such as Storm Warriors 2. totally don't get the point)

Rate: 7/10
and i guess the effects are meant to look fake, in order to be funny =.=

crazily hilarious.

♥
were at Imbi/Low Yat area today, and we saw this:

didn't know that i actually have a hair studio & academy, until today. LOL
not forgetting to mention some random foreigner guy in a car that "peace-signed us" while driving by. MYG
which looks like this:

poor michi and her series of being-peace-signed-at events.. =.=

due to certain cheapo reason, we ditched our LDF aka papparich (for the first time) to eat @ Sushi Zanmai.
as usual, had our fav rice..
(we always order the same thing)

and i am very proud/honoured/happy to say that..
i have deposited on my D90 today!
we're gonna bring Rufus and Ryu home!

 imma bring you back soon!
can't wait =D
well.. can be said that we already own part of it la (maybe the cover/strap/whatever)

to be paired with this baby:

tamron 17-50 VC f 2.8
super impressive! love the bokeh ♥♥ the built too!

well.. i'm actually really lazy and tired to type =.=
probably elaborate on our bargaining conquest next time
(actually a bit too much la us... ask for cheap price, somemore want free stuff >.<)

and..
i should really really start studying! not much time left (but..i wanna enjoy my xmas lah =.=)
feel so lagged behind and >guilty seeing everyone studying, while i'm having fun slacking around!
busy for the wrong reasons? maybe.
i need people to nag/bug/scold/intimidate/scare/threaten (whatever method that works) me~ >.<

simple things like this.

today is a memorable + happy day.
cuz...
i saw dear Jay! =D

went to Pavilion for Jay's Treasure Hunter movie promo.
stopped by at this jap dessert shop (forgot the name) for pretty waffles.
above: Ichigo Rose.

around 6 something, we started waiting for J.
instead of squeezing with the crowd, we stood at the 5th floor.
and we had the perfect spot, only fit for 2 of us. view was good.

look at the crowd downstairs:
they were standing/sitting on the stairs.. scary lor.
if one of them fall, all of them would probably tumble down the stairs (like dominoes) =.=

it really freaked me out to look below us. we were so high up!
and the glass divider looked really really unstable..
it wasn't even fixed to the sides of the wall.. its only attached to the floor at the bottom, by a dangerously thin layer of cement.
imagine if they used cheap cement! scary

our personal joke:

wouldn't be that funny if the glass really gave way.. =.=

today, instead of ladies with LV bags and men in Armani suits..
pavilion looked abnormally crowded with lalas..

[okay due to certain reasons, i've removed the picture with the guy who stands out >.<]

after waiting for about 2hours (hungry + tired + sleepy, but worth it)...
J finally arrived!
=D

 ♥
opening the treasure chest..

effects quite chunt..

freaking lucky people!
but never mind, we're not jealous of them..
cuz...
we got this:

and it was totally unexpected!
just like the last time at J's Kungfu Dunk movie premiere!
(got to see him damn close in person and the movie premiere too! =D)
honestly, we're like really really lucky when it comes to things about J..
and thanks to luck and nice/kind people, we got 2 tickets to watch his premiere today!
(totally screamed and jumped when we got them)
had no expectations of getting the tix, but lucky lucky us
=)

 ♥

the movie is good!
the effects are really good for a taiwanese movie. funny somemore~ =)

♥

now i shall talk about our unforgettable car searching experience..

so after the movie, we went to the carpark...
realising that we totally forgotten where we parked the car!
don't even remember which level!!
okay i know that for us, that's really nothing new.. but it is. just read on

on the way down,
there was this guy.. supposingly a security guard, cuz he had this walkie talkie thingy
he saw us with the sesat look, offered to help us cari our parking.
but he wasn't wearing uniform, maybe just finished his shift or something la..
us, being cautious (not paranoid, its different) decided to "decline" his help..
and to look for the car by ourselves. he somemore got kinda offended =.=
(there's a reason for this guy to be mentioned)

anyway... remembering that we did go down many floors (felt like it),
so we chose to check at level B3.
we searched the whole level for the car, but don't see it anywhere.
every corner and all of the walls look the same. confusing!
and it was like damn dark somemore, most of the people already left in their cars.
so its basically just the two of us in that dark and scary and quiet carpark, searching for the missing car.
seriously SCARY.
after that, we tried our luck at B2. we cari cari a bit, then got really really gan jiong d.
cuz this floor was even scarier, there was no one else except us..

then, i suddenly saw this buggy thing driving towards us. the guard was making his rounds.
you know how those people caught in the desert would be like when they see water???
YES, i felt exactly like that!
i immediately waved to the buggy (yea just like the taxi wave. must've looked really desperate)
the guard saw and drove over to us..
told him about our problem and he made some "calls" through his walkie talkie.
and then...
his buggy ngam ngam no more battery. so he told us that another guard will be coming to our rescue =.=

we were like:
WHAT IF that "another guard" is the same guy who wanted to help us just now?? (the guard w/out uniform)
OMG lor.. he'll sure give us that "mm song" face and be like:
"padan muka betul.. see lah, didn't want my help. now end up still need my help."
hahaha!

anyway luckily.. the guard is not him.. its another guard.
he drove us around to look for our "missing car"..
and that was the very first time i sat in a parking lot buggy!! LOL
we were taking wind (enjoying it somemore) while looking for the car.
seriously, the buggy was actually.. kinda comfy to sit in >.<
i was trying so hard not to burst out laughing, cuz the situation was really really funny!
and.. we finally understood the useful-ness of the buggy =.=

after searching for few floors, we finally found the car, at...
B1
really myg and stupid... so much for remembering that we "went few floors down".
totally had no idea where that image/memory even come from!

♥
tired tired tired
 jay was awesome =D
really busy for this whole week and gonna be seriously lack of sleep!
and its xmas week, so i shall splurge, don't care la.. and i want a movie marathon =)

not perfect; never was.

a great actor:
he is never defined by his own emotions.
he portrays feelings so strongly, as if they were his own;
even if he feels nothing.
he is an entertainer. a truly good one.
one that only shows others what they want to see.
on his stage, he shall be anything and everything else except himself,
because he knows that
to his audience, his true emotions are: worthless.

get up and go; don't look back, just go.

back to my old self. been spending a lot that i've lost count.

and i know that i've been/am being very lazy in every single sense possible. tired is not an excuse.

speaking of update.. the other day, we all went for mun li's bday celebration
and the group pictures in my cam... actually very sad lor.
there's not even one photo with every one of us looking okay/decent.
in every photo, there's sure someone with closed eyes or looking somewhere else =.=
that's the problem about group photos, and now we know what multiple shots are for..
anyway will post about them soon la.
that was one really busy week.. so many pictures in my cam that i feel dizzy just looking at them

for some reason, i just love xmas. a lot.
its my fav holiday/celebration of the whole year
(don't get me wrong, i love cny+angpaos =D)
i just like it; walking around places, with xmas songs in the air, all the pretty decorations..
and everyone looks so happy. its really a season of joy right?
well.. everything, it just makes me smile.
=)

all i want for christmas:
you

..and you're definitely coming home with me
=)

Sunday, December 13, 2009

i'd rather say nothing.

but you've already lost, when you only had barely enough to hang on.

so much to update..and seriously lack of sleep.
been out till after midnight for few days straight. to make it even worse, i'm having insomnia.
never knew that its possible to be dead tired but still can't sleep.
(no im not thinking too much. if blank stares are considered thinking, then yes i am thinking)
and yesterday was the tired-est day ever!
with us rushing here and there, really had that jay chou's 我很忙 feeling man!
(我很忙 = wo hen mang = i'm really busy)

we were like damn 'lucky' somemore, us and our series of misfortunate events =.=

and worst still, today i totally overslept and missed morning class/test!!
hope i can reschedule, if not really can die.

expensive outing @ mv/gardens.
after days of being super thrifty, i really spent a lot that day (although most are sponsored la)
could totally feel my wallet (my heart too) bleeding..
was probably spending on money supposingly for my tamron lens T.T

 so we splurged like i-don't-know-what.
expensive karaoke session @ red box gardens
to burn time (and money) before our movie.

new moon @ gsc signature gardens.
since we watched twilight together last time, max and i decided that its only right to watch twilight II aka NM together too.
and i can't believe we watched this movie in premiere class!
it was just so... not worth it.
(see i told you about splurging.. expensive popcorn somemore)

we were supposed to watch it last week at ahem.. ipoh (i know it sounds crazy but yeah, that ipoh)
but the plan failed miserably, due to our impromptu-ness and lack of time (we actually did have a great plan)
anyway long story.. lazy to elaborate lah

another classic example of super-nice trailer, but disappointing movie.
lots of friends have warned me about the disappointment i was going to have,
but well.. i guess its like that, like for most of the things:
you'll never actually know/believe until you see/feel it for yourself.

at the beginning part, i didn't think that the show was stupid, or if there's something wrong with it...
i was fine with it.
and i was horrified by that.
why?
because everyone have been telling me how uninteresting the story is. but here i am, feeling FINE with it!
omg.. i was telling myself: maybe... there is really something wrong with me =.=

well.. maybe there's some reason to it la.. and michi, stop reading my mind!

anyway.. the movie turned out to be some cheesy/lame/what-a-cliche type of love-triangle story.
just that the two boys aren't normal boys...
instead, one is a vampire, and the other is a werewolf.
woahh..1 girl + 1 vampire + 1 werewolf
that's realllyyyyy interesting right??? (fyi that was meant to be sarcastic okay =.=)

RoPatt (clinton said that and it really didn't sound right) is like the pretty but sad "i-just-want-to-be-alone" emo boy,
with girls dreaming to be "the-only-girl-who-makes-him-smile".
(and he really does look miserable and emotionally tortured in the movie)
and for some reason, Taylor reminds me of a male underwear model =.=
really... go google his new moon poster, im sure you'll agree with me.
and.. i tell you, the reaction of the girls in the cinema (excluding me =.=) when jacob showed his bod/muscles
was like.. how the guys reacted to megan fox climbing up the bike in transformers2.
get the picture?

after the movie, we were wondering how could the movie be so... meaningless (no offense la)
after thinking thinking, we finally knew why:
they kinda concentrated/focused on the wrong things in the movie.
(well i do believe that the book is much nicer, although i haven't read it before)
its like the director was filming it
and got too obsessed on the love-triangle part of the story.
got too carried away
that the movie ended up being:
all about the love triangle, and nothing else.
(or maybe its meant to be like that)
(well don't get me wrong, i actually enjoyed watching twilight)

for example the dakota fanning part, excuse me.. but she barely appeared for even 5 minutes!
(she's on the movie poster! but only being some kinda 'keh leh feh' in NM =.= )
and the most interesting/worthwhile-to-elaborate part in the whole movie, was actually that 5 mins part where
the other vampires found out about bella's "hidden powers".
see? she actually has hidden powers! can you believe that?

instead, the whole movie is 95% about
well.. you-know-what.
but of cuz it would appeal to a certain crowd.. just not me la.

Rate:
i don't even know how to rate this movie.
its really.. disappointing and basically, meaningless..
guess its just another one of those
not-really-worth-watching-but-you-still-must-watch-it type of movie.
(just saying what i think la, no offense to fans of NM ^^)

dinner at 8 gin 8 san (read in canton) cafe @ cheras
to pair with the NM movie, max decided to order "lame" chop =.=
actually his joke is very not funny lor.. totally gave him that face
and i ordered tart-crust baked fried rice
sounds really special right? no. bad bad bad decision.
 its so bad that its...
beyond words.
yes its that bad.

specially took jay's Treasure Hunter movie leaflet.
 1 for yumi, 1 for me (we're die-hard jay fans la =D )
but see what happened to it...
i have absolutely no idea how it ended up looking like this:

damn sad lor.
the other guy's face totally gone.
lucky that jay's face is in the middle, if not also gone =.=

dark chocolate ferrero. from aussie by my tomo.
this is the first time i actually think that ferrero is really that nice.
its weird right.. i know how most people go gaga over ferrero chocs,
but they just don't really give me that 'wow' feeling,
until i tried this la..
really really nice =)

famous fish head noodles @ Ss some-number-which-i-forgot
quite expensive (rm8 per bowl) and kinda... not up to our expectation.
but the uncle who owns the place: really nice

due to my poor chopstick-holding skill, i dropped a big piece of fish on the table (1 out of the 4pcs)
but i tak berani eat, so it was left on the table la.
the uncle walked by and saw that pc of dropped fish.
he asked me is there any problem with his fish. then i told him nothing, just dropped it.
then you know what he did?
he gave me a new pc of fish, damn big somemore. and gave me that very-pleasant-uncle smile.
we immediately changed our view on the shop.
haha.. stupid girls.. easy to tipu =.=

watched this the other day.
for some reason, i started to kinda like/want to watch jeniffer aniston's movies after watching Marley&Me
although her movies memang all the same type la.. romantic comedy =.=
so this movie.. i think its not exactly good, but also not bad, okay okay la. you get what i mean.
had a really rough day. hence, lousy mood.
so couldn't really concentrate on the movie la.. or basically anything
but i guess the movie was the only closest-to-normal part of that day. lol.
anyway, some parts of the movie were funny and the parrot: cute =)
(it can make engine and car alarm sounds)

to be continued soon..
damn tired. sleep sleep sleep
