the air was murky,
clouded by voices i knew and those i didn't.
i kept my silence;
it was deafening.
it was one of the times
i wish i could
put my thoughts into words;
shouting them out of windows,
from rooftops,
into the air;
written on blank white papers,
hurling them over fences,
into the sea,
across the waters,
anywhere;
far from you..
i needed to remember to breathe.
